Welcome to OPOlink.pl – Opole Articles and News in English! Our mission (since our pre-launch on April 12, 2024) is to deliver engaging written and audiovisual content to an international audience interested in the Opole region and Poland. The project covers a broad range of topics, including local culture and history, media, as well as noteworthy events. We are also involved in educational activities. Do not forget to follow our updates, ask us any questions and return for more information in the future. If you have any inquiries regarding collaboration ideas or articles of your own you would like us to publish, we welcome all submissions and also offer Polish to English translation services if needed. This portal is being built with the highest level of accessibility in mind, to make sure all interested netizens have a positive user experience and we are also open to feedback regarding ideas for possible future changes.

Starting in October 2024, as the OPOlink team, we entered into a partnership agreement with Radio Sygnały, the University of Opole’s student station, allowing us to grow in new and exciting ways. As part of their extended family, we are now able to post exclusive translations from their ever-growing roster of website articles, work together on broadcasts, provide our audience with more diverse content, and participate in special events. Through the same deal, they will now gain access to Polish versions of some of our upcoming projects, new opportunities for cross-promotion, the ability to reach a wider community, and the chance to open up many paths for further collaborations between our media outlets in the future.

According to data from the Green Web Foundation and the Website Carbon Calculator, our portal is considered very environmentally friendly. By choosing us as the source of your information and entertainment, you are actively supporting a more sustainable future for our planet through promoting a fossil-free World Wide Web alongside our team.
