Today starts the acceptance of applications for our university’s Rector’s Scholarship. It will be awarded to no more than 9.5% of students from each course, without any division based on the year of study.
Every student who, in the previous academic year, achieved an average grade above 4.00, has various accomplishments, and passed all subjects on time, regardless of the form of study, can apply. This includes first-year master’s degree students, provided they started within a year of completing their bachelor’s degree, as well as winners or finalists of international and national olympiads who have been admitted to their first year of study. Medalists in at least the competition for a medal in the Polish Championships in a selected sports discipline will also be considered.
Applications should be submitted through the USOSWeb service, where you can also check your position in the rankings and your percentage chance of receiving the aid. The deadline for submission is 23:59 on the 21st of October, and the final results will be announced by the end of November this year. For many of us, a positive outcome will be a reward for the effort put into education and diverse activities, a chance to fulfill dreams, and an opportunity to invest in the future.
