Come with us and “ignite the fire of imagination” together at the Opolcon Fantasy Festival 2024, running from the 13th to the 15th of September! We invite you to join this fantastic (pun intended) yearly celebration of culture and creativity. While many of its forms of entertainment might be accessible only to speakers of Polish, there is still going to be a lot of fun to be had for everyone else deciding to appear.
The convention has been a well-known staple in our local community ever since 2013, organized by the Economical Schools Complex, the Electrical Schools Complex, the “Fenix Opole Fantasy Club” Association, and, starting in 2023, Public High School No. VIII, which is named after Aleksander Kamiński. Each year, new guests, lectures, meetings, showcases and other elements await an ever-growing number of attendees. The event also features popular cosplay competitions, thrilling e-sports tournaments, a very addictive RPG/LARP section, and a great chance to dive into (English-language) old-school video games.
The Electrical and Public High Schools will host the attractions, while the Economical Schools Complex will serve as the place for attendees to get some rest. You will also find a very large variety of stalls offering both handmade and factory-produced merchandise from various franchises and universes, alongside general gadgets. As always, the event will be filled with positive energy, supported by volunteers ready to assist anyone in need.
