University of Opole’s own Radio Sygnały (Signals) is turning 68 this year! OPOlisten by OPOlink.pl will be joining the extravaganza next Friday at 1:00 PM. Do not miss your chance to have fun and win great prizes!
As described on our Radio page:
“Radio Sygnały (Radio Signals) is a modern student-run online station with a long-standing tradition. We were founded on April 24, 1957, and for many years operated as a public address system in the dormitories of the Higher Pedagogical School (later the University of Opole). After a five-year hiatus beginning in 2000, we resumed broadcasting on a new platform: the Internet”.
If you would like to get more familiar with the sound of the Polish language, we also invite you to tune in during the full runtime. On May 9th, RS will be broadcasting from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM, and on May 10th from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This annual tradition will once again be full of positivity, music, and many wonderful giveaways – including coupons from our befriended Pod Arkadami café and Metropolitan Language Professionals school / translation office. We are very proud to also be among the list of patronages.
As the OPOlink.pl editorial team, we will also take part in the celebratory broadcast to mark a special milestone: our first full year of activity, which officially passed on April 12th, along with the one-year anniversary of our very first article, published on April 20th. We are eager to see you at the party! The entrance will be free, and you might leave with a gift of your own.
