GOAT FACTORY, a supergroup whose very name (Greatest Of All Time) perfectly reflects the calibre of the artists who make up the band, will soon take over Opole.
This will be far more than an ordinary performance: a no-holds-barred instrumental fusion of progressive metal, rock and fusion, featuring three living legends who have helped shape the history of bands such as Dream Theater, Guns N’ Roses and Sons of Apollo, the lineup promises a true musical earthquake.
Behind the drums will be Marco Minnemann, a multi-instrumentalist, who has performed with equal ease in the progressive rock trio The Aristocrats, alongside Steven Wilson and Joe Satriani, as well as with extreme metal acts such as Kreator and Necrophagist. Marco is the author of drumming books, a recipient of prestigious industry awards, and an artist whose solo performances have placed among the world’s most highly regarded drummers. His technique and powerful festival energy perfectly embody the spirit of the celebration.
Ron “Bumblefoot” Thal will deliver the blazing guitar, a visionary who spent nearly a decade as a lead guitarist for Guns N’ Roses and whose unique fretless guitar playing can be heard on the album Chinese Democracy. Bumblefoot, repeatedly recognised in polls as one of the greatest guitarists of all time, is renowned for pushing technical boundaries, playing with a metal thimble on his finger, and performing with groups such as Asia and Sons of Apollo.
Joining them will be the powerful keyboard sound of Derek Sherinian. Dubbed the “Keyboards’ Caligula” by Alice Cooper and the “Eddie Van Halen of the keyboards” by the media, the former Dream Theater and Black Country Communion musician is known for the aggressive sound of his synthesizers and Hammond organs.
Completing this brilliant sound factory is three-time Grammy-nominated bassist Ric Fierabracci. A world-class player, performing with various icons of jazz and rock, from the Chick Corea Elektric Band and Billy Cobham to Brian May of Queen.
GOAT FACTORY in Opole will be an unprecedented event, which will bring four distinct musical personalities together on one stage. The show will take place on Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Concert Hall of the F. Chopin State Music School in Opole, located at 18 Strzelców Bytomskich Street. Tickets are priced at PLN 150.
