Join us this summer and take part in the community initiative, work together on a giant jigsaw puzzle every day at the tent of the Voivodeship Public Library in Opole.
Throughout July, every day from 1:00 p.m., residents of Opole and the surrounding region are invited to work on the “Around the World” set. Anyone can join the challenge, either for a few minutes, an hour, or even daily throughout the entire month.
As we were told by the staff:
The initiative aims not only to complete a spectacular puzzle but also to demonstrate that great achievements are made possible through the commitment and cooperation of many people. Every participant can sign the special “Puzzle Masters” list. At the end of the initiative, the most active participants will receive small gifts.
In addition, every Monday at 11:00 a.m., the Games Zone of the Voivodeship Public Library in Opole hosts Polish-language accompanying events focused on various location around the world. Their schedules include book talks, as well as games and activities inspired by the cultures and traditions of those particular countries.
