University of Opole: Coolturalia 2025

Giving University of Opole students a chance to learn new things and have a great time, it is Coolturalia 2025 – an amazing project we are proud to be a part of!

Throughout the entirety of next week, our main campus and cooperating venues are going to be filled with many (certified) educational events. Each night will also be greeted with opportunities to have fun and relax with various collective activities. When asked for more details, the people behind it had this to say:

“My name is Ola, I am happy to be the coordinator of this year’s edition of Coolturalia, a project organized by the Student Council of the University of Opole. This year, as always during this event, a lot is happening. Every day from Monday to Friday from the 17th to the 21st of March, there will be four events, and every day also one student integration. There is a really huge variety, we have both high heel dance and face yoga, an event on the legal status and legal protection of fantasy creatures, sign language training, motor training, an event with actors and a lecture on artificial intelligence. I have mentioned a lot, and that’s not all – you can find a full list of events on our Facebook! I am happy to invite you to participate in each of our events, I think that everyone will find something for themselves. There are still places left in some events, so if something interests you, don’t wait! See you on March 17!” said Aleksandra Stawiarska, the coordinator of this year’s edition.

“COOLturalia is an annual event aimed at activating the academic community at our university through various workshops or lectures (and integrations in the evenings). This year is no different! From March 17 to 21 you will be able to take part in workshops on facial yoga or candy making, as well as interesting lectures on such topics as the role of memes in branding, or the future of AI and its impact on human rights. In the evenings you will be able to take part in an evening of board games, a barbecue on campus, a city game or a screening at the Helios cinema. You are cordially invited to follow the entire event!” explained Wiktor Twardowski, the team member of the Student Council responsible for project collaborations.

You can see the full list of events with free tickets still available and those with open entry on the organization’s Facebook page. Most of the experiences will be conducted primarily in Polish, but depending on your current skills and the subject matter, you should still have a great time.

We also invite you to our presentation taking place on Wednesday at 12:00 in SCK, “A Humanized Brand: The Role of Memes in Modern Marketing”, which will be held in English and will use international examples. We hope to see you there!
