The 30th Opole Drum Fest has finished on Sunday, and with it came a flood of new memories, incredible music, and wonderful talent. The event was an absolute success, filled with a shared love for music that brought artists and fans together.
Krzysztof Cugowski and his Band of Masters opened the series of shows with his classic vocals and unforgettable Polish hits, setting the tone for the incredible performances that followed. Tomek Torres took the stage a few days later, playing the handpans from his personal collection and sharing heartfelt stories behind them. His performance was filled with warmth, personality, and undeniable musical skill.
Chris Minh Doki and the Nomads delivered an outstanding show, showcasing their musical finesse. Their set was full of energy, emotion, and artistry – a true highlight of the festival. Ida Nielsen and the Funkbots followed with a performance overflowing with fun, style, and groove, featuring clever nods to Amerie and the legendary Bootsy Collins.
One of the most talked-about moments of Opole Drum Fest 2025 was the performance by Pete Roth Trio and TU-NER, which turned out to be the most sold-out show of the ones planned. Fans of King Crimson were especially thrilled to see three of the band’s former members perform together — a truly historic and unforgettable musical experience.
The festival’s final night was an unforgettable one. Royal Time Machine and FluoDrums closed the event in spectacular fashion. The performance was started by FluoDrums, who delivered a choreographed spectacle filled with vibrant colors, special effects, and a lot of precision. It was the perfect finale to an incredible weekend of rhythm and artistry. The Greek band Royal Time Machine made their first international appearance.
The competitions ongoing through the days were another major highlight, featuring a wave of talented young musicians ready to take on the musical world. Their passion and energy proved that the future of drumming is in very good hands.
We are deeply thankful to our organizers for making Opole Drum Fest 2025 possible and for allowing us to be part of such an extraordinary event, as well as to all the musicians who made this festival what it was. We will soon feature many of them in our upcoming exclusive interviews.
